Nicole Dow-Macosky, Founder/CEO

Nicole began Pink Warriors, Inc - Project Chemo Crochet as a way to stayed connected with her mother Marianne Dow, who passed away of breast cancer at the young age of 60. Nicole has always been passionate about helping people, choosing a career as a secondary math educator for 12 years. Originally from Pennsylvania, Nicole now resides in northern California with her husband and daughter. She has taken her passion for helping people to a new level with Project Chemo Crochet, involving people from around the world to help in this grand endeavor. 

Ed Macosky - Co-Founder

Ed is the co-founder of Pink Warriors, Inc. Without his technological expertise, Project Chemo Crochet would not have grown to the level it has today, crossing state and country borders in support of people battling cancer. Ed is the ultimate porttayl of the man behind the scenes. His main focus is update and maintain our website and drive Nicole with his creative genius and project management skills.

Linda Forsstrom - Director of East Coast Operations

Linda joined Project Chemo Crochet after reading a post about the project on Facebook. Being that she lost her mother to lung cancer 3 years prior, Linda immediately wanted to become involved. Her work began by crocheting squares for blankets which then turned into stitching blankets together. After the expansion of Pink Warriors, Inc - Project Chemo Crochet to the west coast, Linda stepped up as a leader of the east coast division. Continuing to regularly stitch blankets together, Linda also manages the collection of squares and assembled blankets as well as the distribution of requested blankets from our PA location. Linda resides in Glenside, PA with her husband and daughter.
