This week proved to be a busy week for Project Chemo Crochet. We have had many nominations and have been fortunate enough to have blankets to share. Thanks to all of our crochets/knitters/stitchers. You are doing amazing work for some truly amazing people.

Meet Our Ultimate Warrior Blanket Recipients 2/20/13
As the word is spreading about Project Chemo Crochet, not only have we received MANY squares, we have also received more blanket nominations. I am happy to report that with the many donations of squares, we are able to send blankets to these brave individuals who are battling cancer day in and day out. Please nominate your loved one and share his/her story.

Love vs. Cancer
Today, some of our blanket recipients shared some thoughts and photos with us that we would like to pass along to all of you. As happy as I was to receive these kind words and pictures, it reminds me of why we're doing this. Each day, there are people fighting for their lives. The toll this can take on a patient as well as their family can be sometimes overwhelming. A random act of kindness such as receiving a blanket can turn ones day around. Thank you for taking time out of your days and nights to be a part of this project. You really are making a difference.
